Rare alexandrite neodymium vase by Miloslav Klinger and Jozef Cvrcek for Železnobrodské sklárny (ZBS), 1960s-70s.
Beautiful decorative vase made of alexandrite / neodymium glass. A small percentage of neodymium oxide has been added to the glass to absorb the yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting the vase is lilac / pink, in cold light violet to light blue.

About the manufacturer:
The Zelezny Brod Glassworks, also known as Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), is probably best known for its popular free-form organic vases and bowls, designed by Miloslav Klinger and others, in the 1950s-80s. The factory was founded in 1948 as a result of nationalization. At that time it consisted of nine different glass workshops in the town of Zelezny Brod, Czech Republic (then Czechoslovakia).
