Vase with a rough surface on the outside that is reminiscent of tree bark or glacier ice. This heavy black brutalist glass vase was made by the German glass manufacturer Goebel Charlottenhutte in the 1970s. It is slightly wider at the top than at the bottom.
This type of glass is sometimes sold as if it were from Tapio Wirkkala (Iittala), but although the style is very similar, there are significant differences in design.
